Meine MoPiA Ausstellung befasst sich mit unserer Faszination für Sex und Gewalt, für das Leben und den Tod sowie mit unserer Anziehung zu Bildern, die als beschämend oder ungerecht angesehen werden. Wo wäre der Discovery-Channel ohne Adolf Hitler?
Mit dieser Bilder-Serie hatte ich das Privileg mit den Pornodarstellerinen Ashley Blue, Layla Rivera, Summer Luv, Barbii Bucxxx, May Ling Su, Cody Lane und meiner Freundin Jessica Schaeder zu arbeiten. Ich bedanke mich ganz herzlich für ihre Hilfe und Unterstützung.
Alle Bilder sind Acryl auf Leinwand. Manche haben einen, teilweise schablonierten Hintergrund, aber alle sind Originale und keine Drucke.

The museum of Porn in Art presents:
KARL BACKMAN
My MOPIA exhibition deals with our fascination with sex and violence, the manifestation of life and death, and our attraction to images that we may consider shameful or wrong. Where would the Discovery Channel be without Adolf Hitler?
With this series of paintings I have had the privilege of working with porn stars Ashley Blue, Layla Rivera, Summer Luv, Barbii Bucxxx, May Ling Su and Cody Lane, and my girlfriend Jessica Schaeder. I wish to express my thanks to all of them for their help and support.
All the works are acrylics on canvas. Some have a partially stenciled background, but all are original paintings and not prints.
