"SEX PORTRAIT, The Great Satan - Book VIII"

Eine Auswahl von Steven Johnson Leybas achtem Handgemachtem "Bilder-Buch"

Collagen aus Oel und Acryl, Perlenstickereien, Urin, Exkrementen sowie menschliches Haar und Samenwerden mit Sex- und Blutritualen in seinen Kunstwerken kombiniert.
Schicht über Schicht getränkte Stoffetzen inspiriert von der Religion seiner Erben (Apache, Creek, Navajo, Cherokee, irisch, schwedisch sowie welsche Wurzeln) ermöglichen dem "Satanischen Apache" seinem ganzen Zorn und Hass über Politik Ausdruck zu verleihen.

Vernissage: 23. September 2005 ab 19.00 Uhr, in Edi's Weinstube, Stüssihofstatt 14 in Zürich. Ab 24.00 Uhr zeigen wir im Kino Stüssihof den Doku-Film von Marc Rokoff "UNSPEAKABLE" über Kunst und Leben von Steven Johnson Leyba. Der Künstler wird anwesend sein.
